In this unit the students will be learning about atoms. Before they learn about the atoms, the students will have to have some knowledge of the periodic table which we will review. The students will learn about how element can bond and what happens if certain atoms are split. If you are not careful you might lose a finger.

After the students have taken notes, the teacher will use a Hover Cam to show the relationships of different elements on the periodic table. The students will use digital cameras to take pictures of their examples of atoms which the teacher will put in a power point to review for the test.
